Is BATTLE TAP scientifically proven to work?
No. BATTLE TAP has not yet been proven to work in scientific research studies. However, its components including Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), acupressure, exposure therapy (ET), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)) have been studied. CBT and ET have strong evidence in select conditions and are commonly used by behavioral health professionals; acupressure/acupuncture research is also well established in physical medicine, but their application in the behavioral health sciences is more limited.

EFT is the newest intervention listed with the least amount of studies. Preliminary EFT research has demonstrated encouraging results and safety. However, randomized controlled trials are still needed to validate these results and to elucidate the underlying mechanism of action.
